The Hub: Community & Resource Center is the ultimate community space. Meeting rooms, fitness studios, lounge spaces, indoor playground, community kitchen, adult library, children's library, study spaces, computer lab, staff offices, etc.

Fall 2021 semester was dedicated to research. My group (two other students and myself) gathered case studies and articles for a literature review. We did a handful of interviews and site visits of libraries and community centers in the area. We put together a survey to distribute via weblink. The research results helped drive our design considerations.

Spring 2022 semester was dedicated to designing our building. We took a building shell then space planned, added walls, selected furniture, and building finishes. We spilt up the building spaces and determined the main designer for each space. My designed spaces include Open Lounge spaces, Corridor spaces, Childrens Library, and the Staff Lounge.
